Can I bring guests? How many guests can I bring? Are Children allowed?

Yes! We encourage you to bring your friends and family along to share this special moment together. Children are also welcome. We have enough seating for 9 people but more are welcome if they're okay with standing.

Should I have a full bladder for my session?

We always recommend you stay well hydrated, especially 1-2 weeks prior to your session, promoting the most amniotic fluid around baby which helps to see better.  The only time that having a full bladder helps see better is up until about 17 weeks.

Can I hear my baby's heartbeat?

The only time we cannot hear the baby's heartbeat with ultrasound is in the 1st trimester (8wks-14wks) Using motion mode (M-Mode) on ultrasound will be used in the 1st trimester which will only be the numerical value of baby's heartbeat

When's the earliest I can find out my baby's gender?

We do all we can do for accuracy, but gender is never 100% on ultrasound, especially before 17 weeks. We only start offering gender scans at 17 weeks

What if I want a quick check up on baby today?

At The Bump, we understand how your nerves can take over throughout pregnancy, Please contact us to see if we can squeeze you in for the same day!

Do you accept same-day appointments?

We do all we can to accommodate to everyone but cannot make any promises. Always welcome to reach out to us to see if we can squeeze you in the same day!

What are your cancelation policies?

We require a hour notice for any cancellations without any penalty. Any client that cancels within less than 24 hours forfeits any money already paid. We allow one reschedule, free of any penalties, if reschedules within 1 week time frame.  

Can I use insurance to pay for my session?

We are an elective studio, meaning we do not accept any insurances. We accept credit cards, Venmo and cash

What happens if we are unable to get any pictures

Our experienced ultrasound technologist does everything she can to obtain the best images possible. However, there are multiple factors that make it difficult to get perfect pictures and there is no guarantee. Our goal is to make sure everyone has an ultimate bonding experience and will do everything we can to obtain the best images possible of your little one. 

When will I get my images/videos?

We send all of our 2D/3D/4D/HD images and videos the same day. The only images that you will not receive same day are the 8K images. Those will take about 4-5 days and will be emailed to you as soon as they are available.
